For Prince Harry, he did not just get married to a woman he loved and adored, he got himself a mother-in-law that was amazing in his own words. Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mother has shown to be a good mother and a source of strength to her daughter and her daughter’s family.
Very little is known of the reaction of Doria to her daughter dating a British Royal, or how she felt when she met Prince Harry for the first time, but one thing was for sure, the relationship between Prince Harry and Meghan took the whole world by surprise when the news came out.
Rightfully, both families were worried when their intentions to get married was known, but it did not stop things from happening, as now, Prince Harry describes his mother-in-law as an amazing woman. With such description, one can only assume that she must have approved of Prince Harry from the beginning.
With the Sussexes living in America, Prince Harry and Meghan are not just close to Doria sentimentally, but physically as well. This makes it all better as Prince Harry has already taken Doria as his own mother, and act which is evident by shots of Prince Harry hugging Doria.
Finally, there had been reports of Doria moving in with the Sussexes sometime ago. We believed this was a result of Meghan being pregnant at the time. Whichever the case, it is a good thing to see that Prince Harry has a good relationship with his mother-in-law.
