Veteran Nollywood actor and
filmmaker, Ugezu J. Ugezu has kicked against the need for an African man to
undergo a DNA test.
In a post shared on his
Instagram page, the actor chided men who undergo paternity tests before claiming
a child.
According to the prominent
actor, an African’s man child is the African’s man child, DNA or not. The actor
while stressing that he doesn’t believe an African man should partake in it,
pointed out the havoc such a test had stirred in most African homes.

thing is not really an African thing. A child born to an African man is the
African man’s child. Our fathers held this belief and enjoyed the peace of mind.
