The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought company as they attended morning Service yesterday with Her Royal Highness, the Queen at St. Mary Magdalene church on Sunday.
Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton we’re part of the service.
In anticipation of Kate Middleton’s birthday on Thursday where she turns 38, the couple invited their close friends to their home in Norfolk.
Her guest list included:Thomas van Straubenzee, one of Princess Charlotte’s godparents, and his fiancée Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe, who teaches at Thomas’s Battersea – the school attended by Prince George and his sister.
Lady Laura Meade (pictured with Kate above), one of Prince Louis’ godparents, and her husband James Meade, as well as Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley and her husband, David, the Marquess of Cholmondeley.
On the Duchess birthday last year, her husband Prince William attended the 30th anniversary of London’s Air Ambulance Charity at the Royal London Hospital. The children presented a homemade card. When a member of staff then asked, “Are you doing anything special today?” William’s reply was, “That would be telling!” they all burst into laughter.
The Duke and Duchess seem to have enjoyed the company of their friends over the weekend and will return to London to resume their duties.
Sweet wishes to the Duchess!
